“The Fire Temple is honoring the conversation with the Divine and the future. Fire is our first teacher.”

The Fire Temple at the 40-acres was built in 2012 and was initiated with the assistance of students from the Institute of American Indian Arts, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. These students and others like them will be the seed carriers for the future.

Through the thoughts, prayers, and the intention that are planted in the hot coals of the fire we are building the future. For within the fire lives the Divine.

Through Flordemayo’s vision she saw coming of the second sun rising from the northwest and that is the reason the doorway was placed in this direction.
