“EARTH” will be a virtual open medium exhibition of original and unique 2D and 3D artworks that feature the theme EARTH ~ the great outdoors and its creatures from sea to shining sea, and everything else in between!
This virtual exhibition and art auction will feature work in a variety of styles. Work must use the theme “EARTH,” it can depict an outdoor scene or landscape and/or wild animals, plants, or insects (from anywhere on the planet) to be considered. Works can include man-made objects and/or items, but the work itself should highlight and/or focus on the beauty of nature and the landscape and/or creature(s) in its majority.
We suggest that artwork be no longer than 60” in its longest dimension and weigh no more than 50 pounds due to possibly shipping the item.
This is NOT a physical exhibition, it is an online exhibition and art auction.
YOUR art has power. Art can heal, art can save lives, and art can bring us together even while we are apart. It can be a compass to guide us through this storm. This is your chance to make work that will be distributed worldwide and will inspire us all to stay strong, safe, and united.
These symbols will stand long after the virus is gone as a testament to our resilience. Please join us in this historic moment by submitting!
You can support The Path and Grandmother Flordemayo by donating a piece of your art, paintings, drawings, handcrafted clothing, jewelry, quilts, or other decorative items. These are some examples we are seeking for our fundraising efforts. Please keep in mind that large items are costly to ship.
If you have a calling to donate your artwork, please know that your gift of artistic activism can make a difference and is deeply appreciated.
We invite all artists to participate. This is a great opportunity for all creatives to donate, show, and share their talent. This is a curated art auction and artists will be selected to participate in different mediums.
What is the theme for the Art Fundraiser?
We are asking for art items as donations with the theme “EARTH”. We chose “Earth” as the theme, after all the Earth is something we all have in common.
How will the Art Fundraiser work?
Grandmother Flordemayo and The Path will promote the selected art items and promote on social media, on the website, and also on the newsletter. The sale will be done between artist and customer and proceeds donated to The Path by November 30. 2021by by the artist.
Do I need to donate 100 % of the proceeds?
We would love 100% of the proceeds to benefit The Path however, we also realize that may not align for the Artist and we will consider an agreed-upon %.
How is artwork selected?
Please note that we are doing things differently this year due to the pandemic around the world. The shipping and transaction will be done between artist and customer, and proceeds or a portion of the proceeds from the Art items will go to The Path. The Path and Grandmother Flordemayo will promote the Artist and their accepted work of Art on social media and on an email newsletter that reaches over 30,0000 people.
The Path Art Auction will be from November 1st – November 15th, 2021.

In addition, please include:
- Artist Name
- Artist email address
- Title of the Artwork
- Medium
- Dimensions
- 1 – 3 quality images of artwork for consideration in high resolution
- All 2D pieces must be wired for hanging
- List titles, materials, sizes, and creation dates for each image
- Include Statement of Origin Story for each piece (250-word max)

How will I be notified if my artwork is selected?
Once the application is submitted, the information will be reviewed and all artists will be notified via email with instructions on how to proceed if their artwork is accepted. This will be a curated virtual Art Show/Auction.
Shipping costs for sending the Art item to the customer should be discussed with the customer so they can cover the cost.
All donations to The Path qualify as a charitable contribution to a 501(c)(3) organization and are considered outright and unconditional donation(s)/gift(s) to The Path. Some selected Artists will be featured on our website along with Art Photo, Description, Artist Name, and Artist website link as credit, as a thank you for their generous Art donation.
